A clinic that is twenty minutes from North Lakes can be an hour from Bribie, and a provider that says it covers Moreton Bay may mean only the southern part. Check NDIS Commission registration for community nursing care and, if relevant, high intensity daily personal activities, and check AHPRA registration for the nurses. Then ask about consistency, whether you will see the same nurse; about support worker training and supervision for any delegated clinical tasks; about communication with your GP, which in Moreton Bay is often a practice in North Lakes, Redcliffe or Caboolture; and about what happens after hours.
